The Rev. David Matson

St. Matthew’s is happy to announce that Rev. David Matson joined us as our part-time Rector, beginning December 1, 2022!   We have been blessed during our transition time by Rev. Matson’s support as a supply priest.

David graduated from Virginia Seminary in 1998 and was ordained a priest in 1999.  He has served churches in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine, and is delighted to be called to St. Matthew’s Lisbon Falls.  In addition to priesting, he paints in oils, makes interactive assemblages, and sometimes plays guitar.  David lives with his family (Jessica and Leif) in a small farmhouse with a good-sized barn in Readfield.
